I was proofing a recent session about 5:30 this morning and the more images I opened, the more excited I got….. this mom almost got a call from me just to say how really happy I am about how the session turned out!
But more importantly…. I have found my future son in law… hehehe My Claire can marry this kid….

This is pretty quick- but my day at Beidenharn is booked up already!!!
I’ve also had 3 families sign up for beach sessions….. so it looks likes we’re heading to the Beach in June!! If you are interested- give me a call or email me so I can begin to really make plans!!

For those who are thinking of ordering prints to have in time for Christmas- I’m thinking that all orders should turned be in by the 11th!!
Merry Christmas!! I’ve been working so hard these last two weeks that I’ve barely had time to do anything else!! So… I’m going to finish up this week and then take a breather until after the 1st… I have a few sessions and I’ll still be around for calls, orders and questions…. but just going at a slower pace….
Now for other news… If you came to my Christmas Portrait event.. pictures will be in Thursday. I will handing them out from 3:00-5:30. I have tried to call everyone, but if you need special arrangements- just let me know!!!
More news….. I have scheduled a day at Beidenharn Museum and Gardens in Monroe on Wednesday, April 11th. This should be during Easter break for the kiddos. If you want to have portraits made there- let me know!
Beach shoots- I’ve been asked about doing shoots on the Beach this summer- it sounds like a great idea to me!! I’d like to plan to do this for several families… These plans are just in the beginning stages- no dates- location- but I’d love to know who would be interested in taking a small vacation to the beach and doing some portraits while you are there! Call me or email if you may be interested!
Also- I am very excited to say that I will be relocating my studio to a building downtown! There are some extensive renovations to be made, but I hope to be open by the end of January! Whenever I make changes in one area- I usually like to revamp everything! I hope to have a different pricing structure that is reworked and better by the New year. The package structure is just not working and gets confusing…. I am also planning to launch a new Wedding website! I’ve been getting calls about the lack of Wedding information on my site- I apologize for that!!!!- I’ve put the wedding website on the back burner for too long! I guess these changes mean my Christmas breather- won’t be such a break after all…….

My tour of small town LA took me back to Winnfield this weekend.. I can’t believe this town! I just had to share a picture from DOWNTOWN Winnfield… yep…. that’s right.. right in the middle of town is this fantastic location!! Does it get any better???
Two posts (possibly three) in one day… is that too much? Like I said- I have sessions backed up and I’m opening up more and more that I want to share! Check out the eyes on these kids!
These kids were BRAVE!!! The cold was bitter- this poor little guy had a red nose and was shivering within minutes… but it didn’t dampen his running abilty.. we had a great time chasing after the little one- I’ll have to check, but I think he may have glanced my way about two times (maybe I need some new tricks to grab attention)!! So I only got eye contact for a few seconds… Not that I’m complaining… toddlers definately give me much needed exercise…. so after Christmas is over and those 5+ pounds have been added- Moms…… I’ll be looking for active toddlers (I’m thinking 18- 24 months) to let me chase them around with my camera!!

Just a quick note to say THANK YOU to all my wonderful clients!! We got back from our Thanksgiving trip and I jumped right into my Christmas Portrait event- I’m happy to say it was a great success- so thanks again to all of you who came….. I should be placing your orders tomorrow- or today actually- since it’s 1:00 am right now! Late night work is my “theme” this week- Tuesday and Wednesday were 12 hour work days and today was a bit hectic as well! I also have a few sessions that I’m trying desperately to get online and a ton of calls to return! I’m trying my best but things haven’t gone according to “my” plans….. do they ever??? -Of course, since things have been so crazy- both Claire, Stu and I have been getting sicker as the week has gone on… I can hear both of them coughing right now! I have warned Jack that he absolutely can not get sick right now- since he’s 4 and doesn’t exactly do what I say… lol…. I expect to hear him coughing any minute….
While I’m at it- one of my kiddos- they are so hard to photograph- the little stinkers……
